In October, 2017, Oman expanded the list of countries whose citizens can come to the Sultanate on a non-sponsored e-visa including India, Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Albania, Uzbekistan, Iran, Panama, Bhutan, Bosnia, Peru, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Maldives, Georgia, Honduras, Salvador, Tajikistan, Guatemala, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Cuba, Costa Rica, Laos, Mexico and Nicaragua. On 21st March 2018, Oman announced its online application for obtaining the online visas to nationals of 71 countries and territories to visit Oman.
1- A recent digital photograph of the applicant.
2- Scanned color copies of your passport with minimum validity of up to 6 months.
3-Copy of your Return or onward journey flight tickets.
4-Citizens of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Chutan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Georgia, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Maldives, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan require a copy of valid passport or or residence permit to United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, Japan or Australia.
1- The Oman visa is granted for single entry as well as multiple entries.
2- The validity of the visa is for 1 year.
3- The maximum limit of stay is up to 1 month per visit.
4- You must use the visa issued within the 6 months after the approval.
5- You must not have any other current Oman visa.
6- If you stay in Oman after the expiry of your visa, a fine of 26 USD will be imposed for each day of overstay.
7- Entry to Oman is at the discretion of the Royal Oman Police officer at the port of entry.
8- Certain nationalities require a supporting document (visa or residence permit) from the Schengen, US, UK, Japan or Australia. To view your requirements, please visit our application page and enter your nationality.
9- Applicant must be outside the Sultanate of Oman at time of application.
