A Visa Waiver can be applied for if a stay of 30 days is first received, and you want to extend your stay for another 29 days. If you have already stayed for 59 days, apply for an Extension of Stay.

Taiwan passport holders are the only ones eligible for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) for the Philippines, which can be requested through the website of the Manila Economic and Cultural Office.

Work Visa for the Philippines

Foreign nationals who intend to work in the Philippines need to obtain a work visa, also known as a 9(g) visa. This visa allows foreign nationals to work in the country for an initial period of one year, renewable yearly. 

The employer must provide the necessary documentation, including a job offer letter, employment contract, and proof of the company's registration with the Department of Labor and Employment. The foreign national must also provide a passport, completed visa application form, medical certificate, police clearance certificate, and payment of visa application fee.

Foreign nationals from several countries are eligible for visa-free entry into the Philippines for a limited period of up to 30 days, depending on their nationality and purpose of travel. To be eligible for visa-free entry, they must have a valid passport, a return or onward ticket, proof of sufficient funds for their stay, and no derogatory record from immigration or law enforcement authorities in their home country. 

 

They may also need to provide other documents required by Philippine immigration authorities. To extend their stay beyond the visa-free period, they must obtain the appropriate visa from the Philippines Embassy or Consulate in their home country.
