The latest update from the Henley Passport Index 2024 places the Indian passport in the 80th rank globally. This ranking signifies the ease of international travel for Indian citizens to these 62 nations.
World’s Most Powerful Passport 2023
The Henley Passport Index has highlighted that the world's most powerful passports include those from France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore, and Spain. Citizens of these countries enjoy unparalleled travel freedom, with access to 194 countries without a visa or the option of obtaining one upon arrival.
In close second place is Finland, whose passport holders can visit 193 countries with similar ease.
The United States of America ranks seventh. Americans have the advantage of visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 188 countries, demonstrating significant global mobility.
