On Tuesday, European Union lawmakers approved visa-free travel for citizens of Kosovo starting from next year. This decision allows citizens of Kosovo to freely travel within the Schengen passport-free area, consisting of most EU countries, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.

Under this arrangement, Kosovar citizens can stay in these countries for up to 90 days within a six-month period.
