Morocco Expands e-Visa Availability to More Nationalities
The Kingdom of Morocco has expanded its e-Visa system to include more eligible countries. The electronic visa was launched in 2022, enabling citizens of over 100 nations to apply for a short-stay visa online. This new system aims to facilitate faster and more convenient travel for visitors.
It is also expected to boost Morocco's tourism industry, as travelers can now obtain a visa without visiting an embassy or consulate. The e-Visa allows for a 30-day stay for tourism or business purposes, valid for 180 days from the date of approval.
This shift towards electronic visas aligns with Morocco's broader efforts to digitize public administration services, including diplomatic and consular missions.
