Ukraine Ministry of Foreign Affairs Introduced E-Visa for Indian Nationals
From 14 August, the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Ukraine has rolled out its new electronic visa system for Indian nationals.
The Ukrainian government will issue e-Visas for an extended list of travel purposes, including private visits, business, and tourism. The eVisas will allow travelers to visit Ukraine to participate in cultural, educational, scientific, sports events/activities, and undergo medical treatment. Furthermore, foreign mass media staff can also apply for an eVisa.
Ukraine offers Indian nationals the facility to obtain an electronic visa to Ukraine.
How to apply for a Ukrainian e-Visa:
It is a very simple and straightforward three-step process to apply for a Ukrainian eVisa.
Step 1: Fill in an online Ukraine visa application form answering a few personal and travel-related questions.
Step 2: Submit the required supporting documents. Applicants will upload the scanned copies of passport-style photograph, passport’s information page, and documents to confirm the purpose of visit.
Step 3: Make the online visa fee payment using a debit or credit card from Visa or MasterCard. You can use another payment gateway to pay for the visa.
The visa processing will start immediately after we receive the payment. Once approved, the visa is sent directly to the applicant’s email inbox in PDF format. It is advised that before traveling to Ukraine, all travelers must print out their electronic visas and present them to Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service officers along with their valid passport after arriving in Ukraine.
